What it’s like to work with me

I offer outpatient online therapy for adult clients located in Colorado, Georgia, and Wyoming.

If you are experiencing active suicidal thoughts with intent or plan, or feel unable to keep yourself safe, a higher level of care is likely more appropriate than virtual therapy with me. In those situations, I encourage seeking in-person crisis support or emergency services.

You Don’t Need to Be Fixed

Many of my clients are late-identified ADHD women or gender expansive adults who have spent years masking.

You look capable. Responsible. High-functioning.
And you’re exhausted.

Maybe you were diagnosed later in life and everything suddenly made sense.
Maybe you’re AuDHD and have never quite felt like you fit anywhere. Maybe you’re questioning an ADHD diagnosis.

Maybe you’re childfree by choice and tired of subtle pressure about who you’re supposed to be.

If you’ve been adapting to systems that weren’t built for you, of course you’re tired.

Therapy with me moves at the speed of trust.

Relational & Grounded approach

I’m engaged and thoughtful. I will gently name patterns.

I will slow things down when your nervous system is overloaded.

I won’t rush to fix you.

You don’t have to perform competence here.
You don’t have to justify your brain or your life.

Productivity Without Shame

We live in a world that requires output. Work expectations are real.

I offer practical executive functioning support but not from a “try harder” lens.

Instead we look at:

  • How your brain initiates tasks

  • What triggers shutdown

  • Where rejection sensitivity shows up

  • What scaffolding actually supports you

We address burnout, masking fatigue, and energy limits, not just time management.

Your struggles are not a moral failure. They are often the predictable result of ableist, capitalist standards.

We can help you function within those systems — without letting them define your worth.

Naming the Larger Systems

Capitalism rewards overwork.
Patriarchy expects emotional labor.
Ableism centers neurotypical functioning.
Racism and other forms of oppression compound stress and vigilance.

Therapy doesn’t ignore that.

We can’t dismantle those systems in session but we can reduce the shame they’ve embedded in you.

I aim to practice from an anti-racist, anti-oppressive lens. That includes ongoing learning, humility, and openness to feedback. I won’t get everything perfect — but I am committed to awareness and growth.

For AuDHD and Childfree Clients

If you’re AuDHD, we make room for the complexity. The sensory overwhelm, intensity, social fatigue, grief, and relief of late understanding.

If you’re childfree by choice, your choices don’t need defending here. We can explore identity, autonomy, meaning, and partnership on your terms.

This Might Be a Fit If…

You’re late-identified ADHD or AuDHD (or wondering if you may be!.
You feel capable and chronically overwhelmed.
You want productivity support without shame.
You want a space where you don’t feel the need to defend your life choices.

If that sounds like you, I’d love to talk.
